Privacy Statement
Landlord-Law and TJ Shepperson Solicitors comply with the principles of the data Protection Act 1998 when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site.
We only hold the data necessary to administer the membership scheme and to offer services provided on the site. The information collected is information given during application for membership or services or when ordering products or documents. We also retain all feedback forms and emails sent to us generally. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998
Data is only used for the purposes described in the TJ Shepperson entry on the Data Protection Register.
We only hold data as long as is necessary. Once data is no longer needed it is deleted from our files.
Members and customers of Landlord-Law and clients of TJ Shepperson can check the information we hold by emailing info@landlordlaw.co.uk. We reserve the right to charge up to £5 for administration. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
We regularly email members, with a newsletter giving site news, and information and legal updates, and may send members other emails from time to time on matters we think will be of interest to them. We also send out by email a free newsletter to people who subscribe using our online application form. Recipients can email Tessa Shepperson at info@landlordlaw.co.uk quoting their membership number or email address, if they do not wish to recieve this any more. Members can also unsubscribe via the My Landlord-Law section on the site which they can access once they have logged in. Apart from the members and free newsletter databases, we do not collect details from emails sent to us, for the purpose of e mailing marketing information to consumers.
We do use "cookies" which would be stored on your browser. These are essential for the site to function property, ie to hold a member as 'logged in', and for ordering procedures. If you "log out" the cookie will be deleted.
Note also that this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).
