The Photos

Landlord-Law is illustrated by many photos. Many of these have been taken by Tessa Shepperson, but not all. The photographer is generally credited on the 'alt text' you can see by hovering your mouse over the photo.

Tessa's older pictures were taken with an Olympus 300 digital camera, more recent pictures were taken with a Pentax Optio Z10 digital camera. The photographs were cropped using a brilliant piece of software called 'A Smaller Image' produced by TriVista Software.

Locations

The majority of photos were taken in Norwich, where Tessa lives. Many were taken specifically for this web-site. Others are cropped from holiday photographs or are from other places Tessa has visited. We apologise to those living in areas of the country (such as Wales) where we do not as yet have any pictures.

Fortunately Norwich, which is a beautiful city, has many different housing types, very suitable for illustrating a landlord and tenant web-site!

The pictures in the housing law information sections are mostly of buildings, but I have included some general countryside scenes in some of the other sections. Housing law is after all a branch of land law, and it is worth reminding ourselves sometimes how very beautiful the land actually is.

As regards the Local Authority Directory, this is a 'work in progress' but in time I hope to have a picture for every authority. Many of these have been obtained from www.geograph.org.uk.
