Important note on the lodger agreements:
We will be re-launching Landlord-Law in the summer and the new site will *not* contain any information on lodgers. This is now dealt with in our new service
the Lodger Landlord (which also has a documents shop). However these agreements will remain online here until that time.
These agreements are only suitable if you are letting a room to someone in your own home, where either you share living accommodation with them, or where you provde servces (such as cleaning and meals), or both. If you are letting completely self contained accommodation (such as a basement flat), which you never enter, then you should be using the resident landlord tenancy which is one of the Type C tenancies.
