There are times when, in order to enforce your legal rights, you need to go to court. However, most people are completely unfamiliar with the court system and find it very intimidating. Even people who are quite happy making presentations to large audiences or hardened business types will go to pieces when faced with addressing a Judge in court.

However in many cases there is no reason why you should not represent yourself. Dealing with a basic claim for a money judgement or simple claim for possession is not rocket science. Anyone with reasonable intelligence can do it, so long as they have a bit of help.

This is the purpose of these kits. The author, Tessa Shepperson, is an experienced property lawyer and has attended court hearings many times herself, particularly in claims for possession. She can remember very well the panic of not knowing where to go or what to do, from her first hearings! These kits aim to take away the fear of bringing your own claim, by giving you all the information you need.

"We purchased  Kit C from you a while ago - the judge awarded the property back to us within a couple of minutes at the hearing. I'd like to say how happy we were with the results and your advice - the kit is really good value for money" - Garry Webster, Landlord

The heart of the kits are the instructions, which are written in a friendly and approachable style. They explain the law and how it applies to your case, tell you what preparation you need to do first, and give detailed guidance on completing the paperwork, and on the things you will need to watch out for.

They also tell you when you need take legal advice, should things become problematic. However most purchasers of these kits have had no difficulty in obtaining their court order, after following Tessa’s step by step instructions.
