Homelessness Officer:
People faced with homelessness are dealt with in a professional and sympathetic manner. Where the Council cannot assist with direct re-housing, applicants may be given help to find suitable accommodation in the private sector.

There is a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year emergency service available from Housing Services. The service will respond to out of normal hours emergency repairs and homelessness. Staffed by fully trained officers, it also gives useful advice and assistance to tenants with problems that cannot wait until the normal opening hours of the offices.
