School for Landlords videos and a new home page
New content
New Q and A are regularly loaded up to the site.
As you will probably have seen, we have a new home page design, and this blog is no longer featured there (although there are links). See more about the new home page below.
I have finally got around to doing a step by step guide to using the forum - for some reason people often get scared about using this - but now there is no excuse!
School for Landlords
Vidoes: This is my series of short videos which appear for two weeks on my Landlord Law blog and the School for Landlords free of charge for two weeks.
+Plus members however can see a superior version on the Landlord Law site permanently >> here - the video is bigger and there are links below to relevant content and sites referred to in the video.
The first module, which was on increasing rent, has now finished and you can see the whole series (if you are a +Plus member). +Plus members also see the following weeks video early, so you can pop in and see the first video of the new paperwork series >> here.
Talks: School for Landlords is now also offering a series of lunchtime talks every Tuesday from 12.30 to 1.00 pm for a fiver each. The first one is on 7 February and is on choosing and preparing tenancy agreements. See the full program and book your place >> here.
Featured content - the new Home Page
I have been thinking about this for a while. Some people still find it hard to find content, and I liked the idea of showing on the home page the different types of content available on the site.
So the site now has little boxes which link to special new index pages for the different topics. These show content for the different types of visitor - non members, standard members (landlord and tenant members) and +Plus members, although the members content is mostly via the existing index links which only members can view.
The boxes are also reproduced on members My Landlord Law pages, below the green and orange panes.
So if you are a new visitor to Landlord Law, you can see what the site offers both for the type of member (landlord, tenant, agent etc) and for the subject matter (tenancy agreements, eviction, tenancy deposits etc).
