Featured - +Plus and standard memberships
Regular readers may have noticed that I have been adding new content, which (as it was quite valuable and I did not want to give it away to people who have only paid £20) is only available to the annual members.
Some people were getting confused by it all (I felt confused myself sometimes), so I have renamed the membership types to make it all a bit clearer.
S
tandard membership
(The green represents the tenants and the blue the landlords). This is the lowest level of membership. Members get access to either the tenants or the landlords side of the site, dependon on whether they join as a landlord or a tenant member. Landlord members can use the tenancy agreements (which is what a lot of our members join us for), but cannot use the repossession kits or view the video content.
Standard membership is £15 for tenants and £20 for landlords.
As standard landlord members paying by the recurring payment actually pay quite a lot over the course of a year, I have now introduced a rule where they can be upgraded to +Plus membership after five months. However as this cannot be set up to happen authomatically, they need to ask me for it.
+Plus membership
This is where members get access to both sides of the site (so is particuarly suitable for advisors) and the extra content - the repossesison kits (formerly on sale at £95 and £105 each) and the video content.
Note that when the School for Landlords starts in a few weeks time, the SFL videos also be available to +Plus members, so this membership will get more valuable over time.
Quite a few people have said that they find it a bit difficult to find £180 for a years subscription, and I can appreciate that. I have therefore set up a new six months +Plus membership type to make things easier. It is not as good a deal as the annual payment and you don't get the free telephone advice. But it will be a bit more affordable.
I have done a bit of re-jigging of the site to amend membership references and there is a new services guide page >> here.
